Overview

What the work involves

Whether you're putting a heating system into an extension, upgrading an ageing one or adding radiators to a cold room, we design and install it to heat your home evenly and run efficiently with your boiler. That means the right size and number of radiators, properly balanced flow, and modern controls so each room is comfortable without wasting gas.

Cold spots, radiators cold at the top or bottom, banging pipes, a room that never gets warm, or heating that won't come on? We find the fault and fix it: bleeding and balancing, seized valves, pump and thermostat faults, sludge and airlocks, and leaks on the pipework.

New radiators and towel rails supplied and fitted, or swapped like-for-like, plus thermostatic valves and smart controls. If the system is full of sludge we'll tell you honestly whether a power flush will help before you spend on one.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you add radiators or move them?
Yes. We add radiators to cold rooms and extensions, swap old ones for new or designer radiators, and move them when you're changing a room around. We'll check your system and boiler can handle the extra and balance it so everything heats evenly.
Why is my radiator cold at the top or the bottom?
Cold at the top usually means trapped air (it needs bleeding); cold at the bottom usually means sludge has settled inside. We'll diagnose it and sort the cause, whether that's bleeding and balancing, a new valve, or a power flush if the whole system is affected.
Do you fit smart heating controls?
Yes. We can fit programmable and smart thermostats and thermostatic radiator valves so you can control the heating room by room and cut down on wasted energy.
